Hmm, this community looks a little dead, but I have some pictures from 2004 of a concert at the Los Gatos Outhouse. I've been clearing out my room, and I'd rather let someone have these than toss them in the trash. There are 23 total and they're all pretty similar. Give me a mailing address and they're yours.

1:03 am - Audrye Sessions on LIVE 105 tomorrow
joomusjitterbox Hey everyone,

We had a really fun time on tour and now that we're back we're really excited about working on new songs and playing all of the awesome california shows that we have coming up.

We heard a rumor that we're going to be on Live 105's Sound Check program tomorrow night. The show goes from 8pm-10pm on FM 105.3 and features mostly indie bands and imports. They'll probably play us at around 9 but that's just a guess. So if you hear them play us you should call them at (415) 478-LIVE and tell them to play us more.

Cool, see you all soon!

10:20 pm - Audrye Sessions Tour Blog!!!!
joomusjitterbox Here's the first entry, guys. It's kinda funny:

Fuck Route 66

Hey Everyone,

Tour is awesome! After a great show at Nickel City and an hour of sleep we hit the road for our first 16 hour driving day to Albaquerque. We stayed with Anton's aunt and uncle at an awesome house. They had a mountain in their backyard. Mike tried to sleep on a hammock in the backyard, but woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't feel his legs. So, he ended up sleeping on the granite floor in the kitchen. We had a great breakfast and then hit the road again, not knowing exactly where we were going to stay. Oklahoma was really windy and Alicia hated it. She wants to make a shirt that says "Fuck Route 66". We were scoping out possible campgrounds, but in the end Mike got us a place to crash in Little Rock, Arkansas with his mom's cousins. Their house was equally awesome. They had a giant pond in their backyard. Mike caught two fish there the next morning. We hit the road again and headed to Knoxville. We stayed with Alicia's cousins. We watched Dodgeball last night and had a great breakfast. Then Ryan tried to brush his teeth and realized he left his brush in Little Rock.... idiot. He also brought no sleeping bag and stole Mike's in the middle of the night. We will be in Chapel Hill, North Carolina tonight.Soon we will have pictures up on the internet for everyone to see. We will post again soon.

I always try to guess who writes these things.... I'm guessing.... either their drummer... or....Alicia. Hehehehehe. But since there's no "xoxoxo", I could be wrong. ::grins::

10:55 pm - THIS THURSDAY!!! Don't miss it.
joomusjitterbox Hello Friends,

Very quietly, while you weren't looking we made a split 7" with one of
our very favorite local bands The Cushion theory and we're releasing it
this Thursday at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco! It's going to be
such an awesome show! Not only are we releasing the 7", "Quarters
Mostly", we'll also have fancy new Audrye Sessions army style hats and all
kinds of new handmade Audrye Sessions purses. We'll be playing all of
our new songs as well as your old favorites and you'll also be able to
catch The Cushion Theory and IO. So come on out and bring your friends.

Bottom of the Hill
1233 17th Street (17th @ Missouri)
San Francisco, CA 94107
Thu, September 22
9 : 00 pm (doors at 8:30)
$8, (18+)
with: The Cushion Theory and io

Our original plan was do do a full US tour to support the release of
the 7" but because of Hurricane Katrina we've had to shorten and reroute
quite a bit. Most of the shows are set now but we're still working on
some of the details so a few of the dates are posted on our myspace page
right now and the rest should be up there very shortly -

The Bottom of the Hill is my personal favorite venue. If you're eighteen or older, you should go. I saw them there once before and it was the best show of my life!!! Seriously don't miss this one...

P.S. On a personal note, can anybody carpool on the way home? ::blushes:: I failed my driver's test..... =( If anybody wants to, I'll negotiate a trade of some sort. I'm a licensed acupressurist, so I can, like, massage your neck and shoulders or relieve a headache or something, haha. Cell: 925 872 4293

P.P.S. Who was in charge of revamping this site's image again? I suppose that if no one contributes any new pictures, I can make a newer collage. This whole Frankenstein background is just a bit silly now, hahaha.

We're going to be in Arizona on the 25th and Lousiana on the 30th so the first two days we'll sort of be in West Texas and the last two making our way east. We're really starting to get desperate so if you can help that would be so awesome! Let me know.

Looks like they finally made it into The East Bay Express, thanks to Anton.

Check out this article:

I saw it this morning and totally got psyched. Heheh. It's kind of funny though, because they called them "considerably more wussified emo-poppers." Ahhh... I guess not all press is good press, eheheh.

9:21 pm - Bulletin
joomusjitterbox This is the latest e-mail:

Hey Friends!

We're stoked! Anton is finally back from tour with Bright Eyes and
we're celebrating with a huge Welcome-Home show at Imusicast on Friday!
We'll be headlining and sharing the bill for the first time ever with
Anton's metal band Judgement Day (violin, cello and drums playing metal).
Our good friends the Botticellis will be there also and they are going
to have copies of their new EP which is seriously amazing.

As for us, we have some really big new things in store for you at this
show. Not only will we finally have our full band reunited for the
first time in four months but we will also have our awesome new drummer
Alex Feldman! He's been playing with us for the last month and he is
incredible! He practices drums like 6 hours a day and he can play stuff that
we never even knew was possible! You're not going to believe how good
he is. He's also a really awesome dude and we couldn't be more happy to
have him in the band.

Finally, as if this wasn't already enough, we're going to be playing 4
new songs at this show, 2 of which nobody outside of the band has ever
even heard!

So don't miss this one!

WELCOME HOME ANTON!
August 12th
Imusicast, 5429 Telegraph Ave. Oakland
with Audrye Sessions, The Botticellis, Sound and Shape (TN), A Burning
Water
All Ages, $10, Doors: 6 pm, Show: 7pm
live streaming at: http://imusicast.com

Also, pirastro_tonica tells me that this is the first and last time that Audrye Sessions and Judgement Day will be playing together. Sounds like it'll be a very unique show.

Is anybody going to bring streamers, party hats, confetti, and/or things to throw at them? Hahahah. That would be a good idea.

10:09 pm - Bright Eyes on the Tonight Show
joomusjitterbox x-posted

Hey guys, funny story:

I found a link to this on the journal of someone who speaks mainly Italian (that's an even longer story). Amidst all of the words that I didn't recognize, a link that said "Bright Eyes" jumped out at me.

On the Saddle Creek website, which I didn't know about until now, there is a link to a video of their performance on the Tonight Show. Since my comp. is not playing it, I don't know if Anton's on it, but I would assume so. So here's the direct link:

12:38 am - P.S. Layout!
joomusjitterbox This site's been in its pre-pubescent awkwardness for long enough now. Who made me that nifty AS background? I'm gonna use that. Little help here? If you could comment again that would be fabulous.

I also made a piece of fan art that I wanted to post, but my parents got a brand new overly-hip-looking scanner that doesn't scan as large of an area as the old one and therefore actually sucks. So eventually it'll come...

12:14 am - Upcoming Shows
joomusjitterbox All right, guys, it's been awhile since I kept up, since I've been busy doing wayyyy too much nothing. Here's some news, taken from various sources (I'm paraphrasing):

First off, Anton has made a recent appearance in Rolling Stone. It's one of the earlier June issues that reviews Bright Eyes' performance in SF. For those of you who went to that, it should be interesting to read, as well as catching Anton's name mentioned in the article.

Also, Audrye Sessions plans on doing a fall tour across the United States. They will hopefully have the dates up by August. For those of you who live in other states and are dying to see AS play live, your wish just might be granted! Apparently news of the band has already travelled far and wide, as Anton mentioned shouts of "Audrye Sessions rocks!" in various distant cities along the Bright Eyes tour. =)

Next off, SHOW dates.

*****Also, here's one you don't wanna miss!*****

x-posted to _judgement_day from pirastro_tonica

so in celebration of Anton's return, Imusicast is having a "Welcome back home Anton extravaganza!" show.

this is a really amazing lineup:
Audrye Sessions, Judgement Day, the Botticellis, and Stairwell.

the Botticellis are just a plain awesome group, and I dont think they've played up here in a good long while, so this will be a once in a lifetime type thing! I've seen them once before, and they just blew me away. I think that if you like Audrye Sessions, you'll like the Botticellis as well.

anyways, the details:

1:28 pm - For Your Amusement...
joomusjitterbox Last night I dreamt that:

*Audrye Sessions played shows in the mall. Sometimes the lights went out and people fell down the stairs.
*Anton taught me yoga. He wore red plaid pajamas.
*They had a second violinist, who was female. She played with a bow made of metal, actually more like a long, skinny spring with teeny handles at both ends.
*Ryan fell into a pond, ironically enough, in the middle of the singing "Breathe the air iiiiiiiin..." A chick with short black hair, who looked like a female version of Ryan, fell in with him.

And these were just pieces of a longer, more complex, much more bizarre dream, but I thought I would share the AS-related snippets cause they're kind of funny...
